libdoodle1 software package provides Desktop Search Engine (library), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdoodle1
libdoodle1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdoodle1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdoodle1 *
You will get with libdoodle1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
